This year we’ll be joined by Tracey, Bea and Maddy – who run a family pottery business. It’ll be their first time at Bearwood Handmade but they have sold their spiky ceramics all over the country including Henley on Thames Christmas Fair, Luton Museums Service Christmas Fair and Moseley Craft Market.
“B&M Pinesparks and Urchins began life in a shed at the bottom of our garden. My 2 teenage daughters, Bea and Maddy, wanted to start saving money for their college funds and so our pottery and pinecone enterprise was born. We make stoneware and porcelain multi- purpose pots and ceramic sculptures.
Our creations are based mostly on natural forms and can be used for decoration, food, plant pots or anything else you fancy. Bea collects pinecones locally and in Wales and creates tiny pinecone elves, pinecone firelighters, pot pourri and seasonal decorations.”
Bearwood Handmade December takes place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 3rd December at Bearwood Baptist Church Hall, Cnr Rawlings Rd and Bearwood Road, B66 4HA.
